Scanner Functions
The color CCD of the built-in flatbed scanner provides an optical resolution of up to 600 x 1,200 dpi and enhanced resolution of up to 4,800 x 4,800 dpi with a Reflective Scan Area of up to 8.2 x 11.4" (8.2 x 13.7" with ADF). Users can scan documents to JPEG, TIFF and PDF formats, and quickly scan and send files to multiple destinations using Networks scanning.

Facsimile Functions
The unit has a built-in modem with a rated speed of 33.6 Kbps for a fax transmission Speed of up to 3 seconds/page, and includes sufficient memory to hold up to 200 pages, and provides a fax Resolution of up to 200 x 200 dpi for color and up to 300 x 300 dpi for black. Other Fax Features include the ability to specify a certain time to transmit the fax and also send the fax to several stored destinations; plus you can have the unit print out a fax report in accordance to your own settings.

Copier Functions
With a Copy Speed of up to 21 cpm and a Copy Resolution of 600 x 600 dpi you can quickly and easily reproduce any document or photograph. Users can also enlarge and reduce the original in a range from 25 to 400%. To save paper, you can also print multiple image copies from the original document on a single page. Plus there are special functions to erase catalog and newspaper background.

Versatile Media Handling
The multi-purpose tray holds up to 100 sheets of plain paper, and supports letterhead, envelopes, labels, custom-sized media, postcards, and heavy paper, while the 250-sheet capacity Tray 1 holds plain paper in various sizes. There is also an optional 500-sheet Paper Tray available, to increase the paper capacity up to 850 pages.

Create Professional Documents
The versatile CLX-6200FX lets you print Watermarks on your documents, Posters where the text and pictures of each page of your document are magnified and printed across the sheet of paper and can then be taped together to form a poster or use preprinted forms and letterhead with plain paper.

Direct USB Interface
Easily access and print files with a USB port located in the front. You can also scan documents and save them directly onto the USB drive. File formats supported include PDF, BMP, TIFF and JPEG. Plus, conveniently print files from the drive quickly and easily while allowing others to print from the network.

Save Paper
To save paper, you can print multiple pages on one single sheet of paper or use the Duplexing feature to print on both sides of the paper.

Zoran IPS Emulation
Zoran IPS Emulation is compatible with PostScript 3, and provides 136 PS3 fonts (Contains UFST and MicroType from Monotype Imaging Inc.).
